Culinary event will feature some of the best Latin chefs from the U.S. and south of the border.

This weekend’s ¡Latin Food Fest! is so popular that only its biggest event, the Grand Tasting Tent, isn’t sold out.

Global food, wine and spirits will be served up and celebrity chefs will be on hand for cooking demos and book signings.

Early-entry ($129) and VIP ($199) tickets give you access to the beach-themed “playa,” with premium bites and drinks.

A Best of the Fest competition spotlights San Diego’s and Baja’s brightest culinary stars. Some of the expected participants include Tijuana-born chef Javier Plascencia (Mision 19 and Romesco), author Zella Palmer Cuadra and Cafe Sevilla San Diego chef de cuisine Bruno Domingos.
